Coconut Oil is amazing for your hair and skin and just about every other organ of your body (liver, kidney, pancreas, bones, teeth, etc.!). It also helps with weight loss and digestion! I’ve come to view coconut oil as an all around miracle worker. Since discovering the health benefits of coconut oil I now lather it on my skin, do periodic hair treatments with it, cook my food in it, put it in smoothies, and even eat it by the spoonful! It’s accessible, affordable, easy and affective.
I actually tried to completely replace my facial moisturizer with coconut oil but it got to be a bit too much for my skin. I found that for me using it just once a day, at night before going to bed, is the perfect amount.
